Daniel is the visionary behind Olama Trading, with over 15 years of experience in sustainable agriculture and export management. He founded the company to create transparent, ethical pathways for Sierra Leone’s smallholder farmers to reach global buyers. He enjoys hiking, birdwatching, and mentoring young entrepreneurs.

Chief Operations Officer
Mohamed Bangura
​Mohamed oversees operations from farm procurement to export logistics. With a strong supply-chain background, he ensures efficiency and consistency. He loves football and cooking traditional Sierra Leonean dishes.

Head of Farmer Relations
Fatmata Sesay
Fatmata maintains strong relationships with smallholder farmers. Growing up in a farming family, she deeply understands their challenges. She raises her own cocoa saplings and volunteers in youth farming initiatives.

Logistics Manager
Alhaji Sesay
​Alhaji coordinates transportation from farms to export hubs. His deep logistics experience keeps operations running smoothly. In his spare time, he enjoys storytelling and drumming.

Sustainability & Community Engagement Coordinator
Zainab Turay
Zainab runs community programs, eco-initiatives, and farmer training. With a background in social development, she focuses on youth empowerment. She also practices traditional weaving and teaches eco-crafts.

Finance Manager
Isatu Turay
Isatu leads financial planning and ensures transparent, fair payments to farmers. With a strong finance background, she enjoys jazz events and historical literature.

Head of Sustainability & Quality
Jamal Koroma
​Jamal manages quality control and sustainable practices, ensuring every bean meets high standards. He enjoys hiking and documenting native plant species.

Head of Marketing & Export Sales
Kandeh Bangura
​Kandeh promotes Olama Trading globally through strategic marketing and storytelling. He loves photography, especially capturing life on cocoa and coffee farms.

Quality Assurance Specialist
Mariatu Kamara
Mariatu handles testing, fermentation oversight, and traceability. With food-science expertise, she ensures product consistency and enjoys making bean-to-bar chocolate at home.
